Message From the Chairman (Cont 2)

The Environmental and Biosystems Engineering (EBE) programme is dynamic and goes beyond the traditional approach of seeking immediate solutions to problems to one of interactive devolution of problems to recognize sustainable and environmentally sound solutions that minimize waste and continually recycle, reduce and reuse materials. The scope of Environmental and Biosystems Engineering is broader and encompasses Agriculture, Environment, Food, Forestry, Aquaculture, Amenity; Biology based production and processing industries and rural development. The role of the engineer both as a manager and entrepreneur is highly embraced. We highly recognize and appreciate the pertinent role the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) of Kenya plays in molding the graduate engineers to become professional engineers with high levels of interaction, integrity and respect in the Society that they serve.
