This is in line with the Department’s and the EBESA’s mission to encourage team building through academic and leisure exercises, and volunteer experience in environmental conservation exercises.

Kereita Forest is an environmental conservation project commenced to encourage Kenyans to partake in conservation activities in a fun way by participating in team building games leading up to a tree-planting exercise. The establishment offers the following activities as part of its program:

  1. Zip-lining
  2. Mountain Bike riding
  3. Hiking along the various caves and waterfalls within the forest.
  4. Paint balling and Archery
  5. Tree planting in the forest.

The students were able to successfully partake in most of these activities and at the end of the day headed back having fulfilled the objectives of the one-day field trip.
