The UNESCO Water Harvesting Project Team was in Rombo. The two day event included conducting group training for Trainers of Trainers (ToT), Artisans (for water tank construction) and two of the participating groups (Engong’ee Rombo and New Jerusalem Women Groups)

The Trainers of Trainers will be expected to pass on the knowledge acquired to other members of the groups while the Artisans will construct the water tanks using the skills and technology as instructed during the training.
During the visit the team also visited two potential sites which were selected for construction of model underground water tanks; Ngasakinoi Naramatisho and Nashipai Primary Schools.
