The Energy – Agro-Food Synergies in Africa (EDULINK II) Stakeholders Half – Day Workshop Meeting that was hosted by the University of Nairobi was held on February 5, 2016 at the University of Nairobi, Institute of Nuclear Science & Technology Conference Room.
The Project Leader, Energy – Agro-Food (WP4), University of Nairobi, Eng. Prof. Ayub N. Gitau in his opening remarks presented the project status and indicated that the project is working on a platform of students’ placements (attachment and internship) involving various actors including the students, stakeholders and alumni as a way of strengthening the link between the universities and industries.
The workshop brought together various participants including the University of Nairobi staff & MSc students and stakeholders. The aim of the workshop was to present a platform for the stakeholders to share their experiences in the field of energy-agro-food with the university and discuss ways of strengthening the link between the universities and industries.
