EBESA in coordination with the department organized for a visit to Rehema children’s home on Saturday 6th 2016 as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The students arrived at 11.00 a.m. The children at the home aged from 14 months to teenager.
The students as part of giving back to the community donated various items to this worthy course and these items were:
- Toiletries: Tissue paper, bar soap, bleach, arimis milking jelly, powder soap
- Food items: rice, cooking oil, sugar
- Snacks: sweets
The main aim of this visit was to give back to the community through volunteering and community service. The students played with the children in various games, singing and dancing. They also helped out with the washing of dishes and general cleaning of the premises. After lunch the student’s presented their gifts and took a group photo with the staff and the children.
