Biosystems Engineering Students Lead Tree Planting Initiative for Climate Change Action

With climate change becoming a big concern, students from the Biosystems Engineering department decided to take action. They grabbed shovels and got to work planting trees. Last Friday, they planted more than 380 trees to help combat climate change and make our future better.

The students, along with support from the National Research Fund and Go Green na Optiven, wanted to not only help with climate change but also get more people thinking about the environment. Each tree they planted was like making a promise to take care of nature. They were careful to pick trees that would fit well in the local area and help the environment.

In the face of climate change, even small actions can make a big difference. The students showed that anyone can help make the world a better place. Let's keep planting trees and working together to make sure our planet stays healthy for us and for nature.
