The chairman EBE, Prof. Duncan O. Mbuge hosted academia delegates from various universities for a Solar Powered Technologies - Research Proposal writing workshop for two days from 27th to 28th October, 2022 during the 4th Engineering conference 2022 at UoN Towers. The overall theme of EC2022 conference was “Emerging Research and Technologies in Engineering for Sustainable Development of Society”
The aim was to write a proposal for a competitive research funding, come up with a document of that outlines a plan of action and proposal of ideas in relation to solar power technologies.
During the workshop he invited Prof. Oliver Hensel from University of Kenzel in Germany to join and address workshop attendee virtually. On his part, Prof. Hensel pledged to support the initiative and host the next workshop in Kenya.
