Ndume is well known and respected throughout the region as the only true agricultural machinery manufacturer in East Africa. Biosystems Engineering students visited the plant on industrial visit.  The productivity of farms depends greatly on the availability and judicious use of farm power by the farmers. Agricultural implements and machines enable the farmers to employ the power judiciously for production purposes.

Ausquest Farm is focused on supplying quality fodder to dairy/beef farmers, growing certified seed beans, and sharing knowledge on the production of the same. Our second year students visited Ausquest farm in Machakos County with an aim to learn on Conservation Agriculture, different types of Farm Machineries and making of fodder.  

Third year students were honoured to visit Kapa Oil Refineries Ltd for an Industrial visit in the plant  during fourth term 2022/23 academic year. The areas of interest were  Effuluent Treatment Plant, Soap and Detergent Manufacturing Departments, Refinery Section and Material handling Section
