Environmental and Biosystems Engineering Students Association (EBESA) through Chairman EBE, Eng. Dr. D. O. Mbuge and Patron Dr. W. Muthumbi to The Dean, Faculty of Engineering Eng. Prof. A. N. Gitau organised an Academic Trip to Mombasa from 17th to 20th February, 2022.
They were scheduled to visit three Companies namely;
50 students from Mang'u High School visited Department of Environmental and Biosystems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering on Wednesday February 16, 2022 for a Career Guidance session and tour. They were briefed and given an orientation through video what Biosystems Engineering Degree program entails by Mr. Orodi, Principal Technologist and Ms. Consolata Mwangi Senior Technologist
The Department of Environmental & Biosystems Engineering held Undergraduate (5th year) Proposal presentation at Upper Kabete Premises. The presentations cover the core thematic areas: Water and Irrigation Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power and Machinery Engineering, Food and Processing Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.
The Environmental and Biosystems Engineering Students’ Association team organized an orientation for the 1st year Biosystems Engineering students (2021/2022) to the Upper Kabete premises on Friday, 29th October 2021. There were about 35 1st year students present. They were accompanied and joined by Assistant Dean of Students Ms. Catherine Gatwiri.
The Library has organized online training for postgraduate and researchers on Academic Writing Skills. The training is scheduled on Friday, 22nd October 2021.
The University of Nairobi in collaboration with UNESCO and Mount Kenya University launched Our Rights, Our Lives, Our Future (O3 Plus) project on, Thursday 30th September, 2021 in Taifa Hall, University of Nairobi.
